Arrangement complements McKesson Canada’s retail automation product offering

McKesson Canada’s U.S. parent company, McKesson Corporation, has announced today a strategic alliance with Parata Systems, a Durham, N.C.-based company at the forefront of pharmacy robotics. 
 
McKesson APS in Canada remains part of McKesson Canada and is not included in this transaction. McKesson APS becomes the exclusive Canadian distributor for Parata’s product line, creating the most complete, technologically advanced range of pharmacy automation products in the industry. McKesson APS will continue to service all Canadian customers’ retail automation needs with the same dedicated team based in Canada.
