McKesson Canada’s 2004 Distinction Awards Ceremony was held this past September 20th, recognizing our outstanding business partners from the manufacturer community.
Two types of awards are handed out during this annual event: Distinction Awards, which recognize a manufacturer in each of three categories: Pharmaceutical, OTC and Consumer Products. Manufacturers are evaluated on their global performance based on four criteria: service, inventory productivity, supply chain efficiency and sales growth. Outstanding Achievement Awards, which highlight a manufacturer’s performance on one of the criteria mentioned above.

Since its introduction in 1991, the McKesson Canada Distinction Awards event has been a key date for our manufacturer partners and for us. Every year, McKesson Canada is delighted to present this program, because it recognizes our manufacturer partners’ award-winning performances; and because it ensures that we are all working toward the same goals. It is McKesson Canada’s way of thanking our manufacturers and communicating our key measures in achieving the best service possible for our mutual customers.
In keeping with tradition, McKesson Canada made two $10,000 donations during the course of the evening, to two local children’s hospital foundations – The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation and Fondation de l’Hôpital Sainte-Justine
