Medication Management

Medication Management addresses the unique and complex needs of patients prescribed medications requiring specialized services not currently offered by hospital or retail pharmacies. Services are offered through a network of six highly specialized prescription centers and a larger network of highly trained retail outlets across Canada.

• Adherence to specialized protocols covering drug receiving, storage, preparation and dispensing (e.g., lot tracking and recalls, patient registration, risk management)

• Professional and courteous pharmacists who have received specialized training directly from the manufacturer of your medication
• Specialized product manipulation, re-packaging, compounding and reconstitution
• Proper handling, storage and fulfillment of cold-chain and cytotoxic drugs
• Simpler treatment experience working directly with healthcare professionals for more efficient scheduling and coordination of treatments
• Dispensing and delivery to patients, clinics or physicians
• Access to manufacturer programs and services offered by the manufacturer
• Access to manufacturer assistance, compassionate supply and Special Access Program (SAP)
• Adherence support and monitoring, including outbound follow-up calls prior to refill dates
• Product-kitting services, including the supply of related products such as syringes, needles and manuals
• Ongoing support during therapy
