Building My Pharmacy, My Way

Léa Barrak

“My pharmacy is my second home. I work there every day and I’m proud of it. It’s important to me that it reflects my vision and that it responds to the needs of my community. This is what really drove me to become an independent pharmacy owner.”

#BeIndependent
When Léa Barrak graduated from the Université Laval in 2012, there was no doubt in her mind that she wanted to become an independent pharmacy owner. Growing up in a family of health care professionals, Léa’s strong sense of ambition and entrepreneurship led her to open her first pharmacy in Anjou, Québec in 2016.

Her focus was simple: to build a pharmacy that would help her community get access to better care.

And that’s what she did.

She completely transformed her pharmacy with an ergonomic patient design. Today, it is a warm and inviting space for patients to come-in, receive personalized support and counselling services, improved patient programs and services adapted to their needs. Léa is dedicated to her community, actively volunteering and offering support to various organizations in her neighborhood.
